Terms of Use
Adapt these terms to your project and have them reviewed by a lawyer if in doubt.
1. Scope
These terms govern the use of devonic.de ("Devonic"), an independently and privately run hub for Minecraft server plugins.
2. No affiliation with Mojang/Microsoft
Devonic is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or the "Minecraft" brand. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
3. Accounts
Accounts are issued exclusively by the administrator. Credentials must be kept confidential and not shared with third parties. The administrator may disable accounts that violate these terms.
4. Uploaded content
Anyone publishing a plugin, changelog entry or forum post warrants that they hold the necessary rights and grants Devonic a non-exclusive right to store, publish and make the content available for download. In particular, the following are prohibited: malware, content infringing third-party rights (copyright, trademark, personality rights), and unlawful content of any kind. Reported content is reviewed and removed in case of violations.
5. Use at your own risk
Plugins are provided by third-party authors. Devonic does not automatically scan uploaded files for malware or defects. Downloading and running plugins, especially on production servers, is at your own risk. We recommend reviewing files yourself before production use and keeping backups.
6. Limitation of liability
Devonic is provided as a hobby project "as is", without warranty. Liability for damages caused by slight negligence is excluded, except for breaches of material contractual obligations, damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, or mandatory statutory liability (e.g. under product liability law).
7. Termination
The administrator may remove or disable accounts and content at any time without prior notice in case of violations of these terms or applicable law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by German law.
